Vision & Culture

A design system to splash Kelowna’s vision and culture statements throughout the organization.

 

This brand was designed with the Crew Marketing Partners creative agency. The culture and vision brand was designed to sit comfortably alongside the City of Kelowna brand. It was applied to employee desktop backgrounds, posters, stickers, and digital banners to highlight the values shared throughout the team.

The Core

Referencing a “core” signifies two main things; culture being the core of an organization and this team being a core of the City of Kelowna. This is visually symbolized by taking the core out of the City of Kelowna logo out as an independent shape.

 

The Compass

Culture also serve another purpose, which is to decide the direction of an organization. Like a compass, culture also serves to guide the direction of an organization. This is symbolized by adding a true north icon to the centre of this design.

 
 
 

Highlighting People

Infusing this icon into imagery will connect the organization’s culture (represented by the icon) to the place or people featured. This will be especially effective for the staff profile cards.
