Squarespace Website
I build websites using a platform called Squarespace. It allows for great design, drag and drop editing, and it’s super user friendly!
Pros
You don’t need to know how to code to build so I have many clients take on editing their website afterwards.
Squarespace gives you the blocks to build with so you can drag and drop elements without designing from total scratch.
Cons
Not everything is achievable. Because their are template, though they are very customizable, not everything can be created as you’d imaging it.

Process
Write Text
Final text, ready to be copied and pasted, is written by client and placed within a basic wireframe of a webpage. This stage will not focus on design, only basic layout that could change during the design stage. This stage will reference imagery if it is significant to what is being written.
Website Rough Map
Text, images, buttons, links will be arranged on a basic map showing a rough layout of a website.
Website is built
The Squarespace site is not actually built with styling, images, and text all online but private. This stage may include design concepts to nail down the overall look before the site is built depending on how large the site will be.

Squarespace Website Built: Web design based on current brand design. No mockups created for review before web building. Website is not live at this point.

Web Design Mockups: Based on content map, an initial concept of the web design is created followed by mockups, based on Squarespace design and client brand to be approval before building website. (2x revision)
Squarespace Website Built: Handed over to client to manage after building.

Does not include domain transfer.
